Everything at a glance
Eleven monitor types — from a simple website through cron jobs to a multi-step API flow.
Website & endpoint
Status code, response time, and availability of websites and HTTP endpoints.
Port monitoring
Monitor open ports and TCP services such as databases, SMTP, or SSH.
Ping / ICMP
Host availability and latency via ICMP echo.
DNS resolution
Resolve A records and check for outages or changes.
Keyword
Checks whether an expected text appears in the response (or is missing).
SSL certificates
Get warned before a TLS certificate expires.
API monitoring
Multi-step HTTP flows with status and content assertions.
UDP services
Sends a payload and checks the response of UDP-based services.
JSON health
Reads health endpoints and evaluates sub-checks individually.
Domain expiry
Warns weeks before your domain registration lapses — over RDAP, straight from the registry.
Cron job & heartbeat
Your job pings us after each run; when the ping stops arriving, the monitor fires.
Ready to go in three steps
Create a monitor
Enter a URL, host, or port, choose an interval and thresholds — set up in seconds.
We check around the clock
Checks as often as every 60 seconds, with latency measurement and slow-response detection.
Get notified instantly
Alerts via your channel when something goes down — with incident history and uptime stats.
More than just “up or down”
What UptimeAlien does for you beyond plain “up or down”.
60-second checks
Fast check intervals on the paid plans — you find out about outages before your users do.
Learn more →Slow-response alerts
Set a latency threshold: too slow = “degraded”, even before it goes down completely.
Learn more →Production error tracking
Send error events from your apps to UptimeAlien and keep track of open and resolved errors.
Learn more →Public status pages
Share live status & uptime under your own URL — with branding on the Team plan.
Learn more →Teams & roles
Invite members and assign granular permissions per person — managed by the team lead.
Learn more →12 integrations
Slack, Discord, Telegram, webhook, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, and more — unlocked per plan.
Learn more →Not just whether it runs — what goes wrong inside it
Uptime monitoring watches your app from outside. Error tracking shows you the exceptions hitting your users while the server keeps answering 200.
- Exceptions with stack traces from any language that speaks HTTP — no SDK required
- Identical errors appear as one entry with a counter — one click resolves the whole group
- Tell open from resolved apart instead of grepping log files
- Filter by service, environment or release using tags
curl -X POST https://uptimealien.de/ingest/v1/events \
-H "x-sysmon-key: $UPTIMEALIEN_INGEST_KEY" \
-H "content-type: application/json" \
-d '{
"level": "error",
"message": "Cannot read property id of undefined",
"stacktrace": "at CheckoutService.pay (checkout.ts:42)",
"tags": { "service": "checkout", "env": "production" }
}'Notifications where your team already is

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to decide — short and to the point.
Do I need a credit card?+
No. The free tier is free forever and works without any payment details. You only enter billing data if you later upgrade to a paid plan.
Where is my data stored?+
On servers in Germany, operated by us — no outsourcing to an external hosting provider and no third-country transfer. UptimeAlien is GDPR-compliant, and the data processing agreement (DPA) becomes effective automatically when you register.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then drops back to the free tier.
What happens when I hit a plan limit?+
Nothing breaks and you're never charged by surprise — you simply can't add more monitors than your plan allows. Upgrade, or pause/remove existing monitors to free up space.
How do I get notified?+
Across 12 channels: Slack, Discord, Telegram, email, webhook, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, ntfy, Gotify, MQTT, FCM and PushPig — plus a public status page. You decide per monitor.
Do you offer public status pages?+
Yes. Share a live status page with your users — customisable with themes, your logo and colours on paid plans, including uptime history and incident timeline.
Do I need technical knowledge?+
For website, port and ping checks: no — enter a URL and you're done. Advanced types (API flows, JSON health, keyword, SSL/DNS) are there when you need them, with examples in the in-app help.
