One login per person. And per person, you decide how far it reaches.
The usual state of things in a small team: one monitoring account, one password, everybody knows it. That works until somebody leaves. Then it turns out nobody is sure who actually receives the alerts, and the password is still sitting in the chat history. On the Team plan every person gets their own login, and you decide what that person may do.
How it works
The team lead invites by email. Whoever accepts sets their own password and second factor. Permissions are granted per person and run from “may only look” to “may change anything”. Login seats and notification seats are counted separately, because the two rarely line up: management wants the alert but has no business editing a monitor.

Can several people use the same account?
Technically yes, but that is exactly what we would like to spare you. On the Team plan the team lead invites members, and each person gets their own login with their own password and their own second factor.
Can I control what team members are allowed to do?
Yes, permissions are granted per person. The range runs from read-only access to full management of monitors and settings.
How many seats do I get?
The Team plan comes with several, while Free and Solo are built for one person. The exact numbers are on the pricing page, where login seats are listed separately from notification seats.
Can somebody receive alerts without being able to log in?
Yes, that is what notification seats are for. Anyone who only needs to be told does not need a login and does not take one up.
What happens when someone leaves the team?
You revoke their access, and that is that. Since nobody shares a password, the remaining members have nothing to change.
